PLYLIGHT has patented methods to form Light Distribution Tubes (LDTs) from multiple polycarbonate films which allow for the controlled diffusion and distribution of light. They can be assembled in the flat, shipped flat, and then rolled into fully functional LDTs at or near their ultimate destination.  In addition PLYLIGHT patents include a sunlight harvesting solar hybrid system called SOLARMERSION™; and a uniquely designed LDT for use in liquid environments such as algae phote-bioreactors, called AQUAMERSION™.
