THE WALBROOK: The lobby wall in The Walbrook building in London, UK, designed by Sir Norman Foster Architects. The wall contains 192 x 4 inch diameter fluted Shott glass tubes each 22 feet high, into these glass tubes PLYLIGHT LDTs were inserted (see detail). Sadly the tubes were (poorly) lighted with LED spot lights (by others) at the base of each tube. |
